Writing on the piano from the age of 8-9, Vanessa composed and orchestrated a piece called “Friends” that was performed by her and transcribed for orchestra and choir for her elementary school graduation. Here she also learned and taught cello which she continued to play throughout her years at LaGuardia H.S. of Performing Arts. Growing up with a rock musician father, naturally she gravitated towards that world as a teen.

Playing keyboard for such acts as Dreambox, Tang ( all female punk band) and Vasaria, Vanessa has performed the circuit of famous NYC clubs CBGB's, The Limelight, Arlene's Grocery, L'Amour, Le Poisson Rouge as well as large venues on a European Tour.

Vanessa's compositions have accompanied dance pieces, been applied to art installations, and have been utilized on the screen. She has scored for several short films including Clown, 2008 and Meemo, 2001 ( see IMDB).

Vanessa guest appears with fusion metal pioneers Candiria on their album "Kiss the Lie" ( 2008) and has collaborated with guitarist/producer John LaMacchia on a side project called Speechless, still in the works.
